With such an incredible four years ahead of you, your journey begins with Smith Commerce Orientation Week!
This year, we are excited to announce that we will be having all IN-PERSON Orientation activities. We are confident this will help aid in facilitating a successful welcoming and transitioning experience for First-Year students into the Queen's Community.
Weekend 1 of Orientation is from September 6th - 7th, and Weekend 2 is from Sept 12th - 13th following residence move-in on September 4th/5th, 2026.

Please note that exchange students do not register for Orientation through this website. Exchange students can participate in Orientation programming through the Commerce Global Network and the Commerce Exchange Office.

Orientation Week!
*Although we work hard to project inventory needs, uniform sizing is not guaranteed. It is distributed on a first-come first-served basis as items must be ordered in advance. Rest assured, individuals are guaranteed to receive an "I Like Commerce" Uniform and Coveralls as long as they register prior to the August 31st deadline. We strongly recommend registering early to secure your preferred size before specific sizes sell out.

The Orientation Registration Fee, in conjunction with financing provided by sponsors, allows for students to participate in OFF-CAMPUS EVENTS AND ON-CAMPUS EVENTS WHICH INCLUDE:
ACADEMIC & INFORMATIONAL EVENTS
RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING EVENTS
SOCIAL EVENTS
FOUR PROVIDED MEALS
The fee also includes the infamous "I Like Commerce" uniform, as well as Commerce Coveralls

Q: Do you offer a Fee Waiver Program for Orientation Week Activities?
The Smith Commerce Orientation Week Fee Waiver Program is coming soon. Students who apply and are approved for a Fee Waiver will receive financial assistance for the Orientation Week Registration fee.
Q: Is preferred size guaranteed for the "I Like Commerce" Uniform and Coveralls?

Meals provided through Smith Commerce Orientation Week will have dietary options catering to your needs. When registering, please specify any dietary restrictions you may have to guarantee that we have meal options available for you.
Q: Can I choose to be in an Orientation group with my friends?
All Incoming Students are randomly assigned to Orientation groups to encourage building new connections as you join the program. Regardless of what group you are placed in, we guarantee that you will have an incredible experience and the opportunity to get to know countless students throughout Orientation Week!
